These are the terms and conditions of sale for Bespoke Privacy Blinds Ltd. Please read the terms carefully before placing your order. We may change these terms from time to time. Please check them before every purchase made.
All orders and contracts between the customer and Bespoke Privacy Blinds Ltd will be in writing or any other methods Bespoke Privacy Blinds Ltd will have to review and accept. Bespoke Privacy Blinds Ltd is not willing to contract otherwise than on these Conditions of Sale. Alterations to contracts and orders will not be effective unless it is signed by an authorised signatory of Bespoke Privacy Blinds Ltd. Any quotation shall be regarded as an invitation to treat. Each order or acceptance of a quotation for Goods by the Customer from Bespoke Privacy Blinds Ltd shall be deemed to be an offer by the Customer to buy Goods subject to these Conditions of Sale. Any advice or recommendation given by Bespoke Privacy Blinds Ltd or its employees or agents to the customer or its employees or agents as to the storage or application or use of the Goods which is not confirmed in writing by Bespoke Privacy Blinds Ltd is followed or acted upon entirely at the customer’s own risk.
The prices of the products vary depending on the sizes of the windows and the materials chosen, which will be calculated and stated within the quotation. Bespoke Privacy Blinds Ltd will not form any contract or process any orders unless a 30% deposit of the total order is received up front. We shall then be responsible to manufacture the product, deliver and install unless otherwise stated by the customer. All goods supplied by Bespoke Privacy Blinds Ltd remain our property until the full balance on your order has been paid in full. The remaining payment via cheques, cash or BAC’s is required in full upon completion of installation. This activates the warranty on your products. For the avoidance of doubt, no warranty issue will be dealt with until full payment of the balance on your order. Bespoke Privacy Blinds Ltd reserves the right to use debt collecting agencies to collect any outstanding payments, which may incur further charges to the customer.
Once we have completed your quotation, we will provide you with an approximate delivery date. A confirmed installation date will be given as soon as the company has completed the manufacturing of the product.
Vertical blinds – Please allow a minimum of 5 days from the time of order to fitting.
Roller Blinds – Please allow a minimum of 5 days from the time of order to fitting.
Venetian Blinds – Please allow a minimum of 14 days from the time of order to fitting.
Skylight Blinds – Please allow a minimum of 7 days from the time of order to fitting.
Our products are Bespoke Privacy Blinds Ltd and made to the requirements of our customers. On occasions there may be unforeseen delays to the timescales outlined in this section.
Please note our fitters require unrestricted access to all windows. Please arrange furniture and other items to be moved prior to our visit. Bespoke Privacy Blinds Ltd is not liable for damages of items left in close proximity of your windows or produced as a result of items being left near the windows.
All our products are custom made to the specifications agreed with you at the time you accept the quotation. They are not suitable for resale or reuse. It is therefore very important that you are sure of your purchase choices before placing your order. Cancellations and changes can only be made for a period of 24 hours after you have placed your order therein manufacturing will begin. All cancellations and changes made during this period will be subject to an administration charge of 5% of the total value of your order. We will deduct this administration fee from your deposit and refund the balance to you.
Bespoke Privacy Blinds Ltd will not issue refunds or credits for cancellations or changes outside of the first 48 hours. Therefore, the full 50% deposit collected at the time of your order will be forfeit.
On very rare occasions, there may be delays caused by factors beyond our control. These include, but are not limited to, third-party manufacturing issues (e.g. out-of-stock materials, factory delays), shipping delays or weather conditions. In the event of a known delay, you will be contacted and informed immediately. Bromley Blinds does not take responsibility for such delays. We are unable to offer partial/full refunds in the event of such manufacturing issues or delays. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Bromley Blinds reserves the right to reject any order at its discretion.
All our products carry a 5-year warranty. The warranty on our products begins when the full balance for your order is paid. For the avoidance of doubt, the warranty is not valid on products that have not been paid in full. Manufacturer’s warranty covers failure of the components solely in the course of normal usage. The warranty covers the repair and replacements of faulty parts. If the product is not repairable it will be replaced with a new one. The warranty does not cover manual damage due to force or irresponsible fire damages. The warranty does not cover replacement of material slats damaged manually or stained from spillages.
Bespoke Privacy Blinds Ltd will ensure the privacy, confidentiality and safety of the personal data of our customers. We only collect the minimum information necessary to provide a response to your enquiries and deliver our services. Examples of data collected are name, address, telephone number and email address. This information may be disclosed to authorised third parties in order to process your order.
Bespoke Privacy Blinds Ltd will not rent or sell your personal information to any other unrelated company, or individual, without your express permission.
Bespoke Privacy Blinds Ltd may use your email address to send you special offers and discounts. Your email address will never be used or shared with other organisations or individuals, without your express prior consent.Your financial information, credit or debit card details will not be stored at any time in our database. Financial information is promptly disposed of in a secure and safe manner.

Upon placing your Order, you confirm that you have been provided with advice in regards to Child Safety. You confirm that you understand the child safety options for the various blind types available and that you have chosen one which is appropriate for the window you intend to cover. The guidance is clear that certain blind types require a minimum fitting height and if you order such a blind you confirm that your window conforms to these requirements.
If you are providing measurements to be manufactured it is very important that your measurements are correct. We cannot accept the return of the Goods by reason of the measurements provided being incorrect. You are advised to call our enquiry line on 0121 679 8514 or contact us by email on info@bespokeprivacyblinds.co.uk if you would like guidance on how to take the required measurements accurately, or if you would like a member of the sales team to come out and measure for you.
We warrant that the Goods will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 2 years from delivery of the Goods to You. It is important that you keep your receipt given to you on the day of quotation as this will have your date of warranty displayed on there and will confirm you are still within the 2 year warranty period. Should any defect in material or workmanship occur within the relevant warranty period after the date of delivery of the relevant Goods, we will arrange with you to examine the Goods and, if the Goods are defective, we shall either repair or replace the defective Goods free of any charge for labour or materials (always providing that the Goods have not been subject to any mis-use or modification).
The warranties provided shall not apply where the relevant fault or defect has been caused by your misuse, fitting and/or neglect of the Goods or by accidents caused while the Goods are in your possession. Whilst every attempt will be made by us to ensure that the Goods supplied match in every respect any samples shown or description given to you, any minor or immaterial variation between sample or description and the Goods delivered shall not entitle you to reject the Goods, nor to withhold or reduce payment of the purchase price, nor claim any compensation for such variation or change.
We will not be liable to you by way of representation (unless fraudulent), common law duty or under any express or implied term of the contract for any losses which are not foreseeable by both parties when the Contract is formed arising in connection with the supply of Goods or their use by you; any losses which are not caused by any breach by us; business or trade losses (including, without limitation, loss of profits, loss of goodwill, loss of business and loss of reputation); or any failure by you to give us correct measurements for the Goods (see condition 2.4 above).
Our entire liability in connection with the Contract will not exceed the purchase price of the Goods in question. Nothing in this Contract excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence or that of our employees or sub-contractors; liability for damage to property or injury to persons under the Consumer Protection Act 1987; fraud; or any other matter that we cannot by law exclude or restrict.
