These tapes run vertically, replacing the visible lift cords, which provides a smart, tailored finish and, more importantly, covers the small cord punch holes in the slats. This simple addition significantly improves light blockage and privacy when the blind is closed. However, despite this improvement, the slatted design means they do not provide total darkness.
